Ecclesia National Gathering 2024

Leading for the
Long Haul

January 17-19, 2024

Canterbury Retreat Center : Orlando, Fl

Join us for…

Three days of reconnection, refreshment, and retooling for the journey of church leadership in these unprecedented times.

The last few years have taken a toll on leaders in ways unimaginable even 5 years ago.  We have seen many colleagues and friends who found that the pressures of this last season were enough to push them out of ministry.  Now, as we look toward future days, how can we cultivate our life and leadership in a way that will last through both the ups and downs that we will inevitably face?

3 Days of

Learning Together

During the Ecclesia National Gathering we will have the opportunity to learn from Dr. Jorge Acevedo, Lead Pastor of Grace Church in Cape Coral, FL.  Jorge is a prolific author and speaker, and will have retired from 40+ years of full-time ministry later this year.  He has experienced the highs and lows of life and leadership, both in congregations as well as in his family.  Jorge will share with us the core practices and principles that have sustained him over many seasons.

In addition, we will be joined by Professional Counselor and Therapist, Dr. Tasha Levert, to gain insights from the counseling community on the steps we can take to develop our personal and emotional well-being to withstand the pressures of ministry.

We are also delighted to welcome two long-time Ecclesia leaders to share with us – Dr. Aaron Graham, Lead Pastor of The District Church in Washington D.C. and Dr. Mia Chang of Next Gen Church in Princeton, NJ. Aaron and Mia started congregations in highly challenging contexts and have learned the postures and practices for thriving as leaders in an increasingly secular age.
