Online Church Planters Cohort
We are glad you are a part of this year's Genesis Training. We hope that over the coming months you will be stimulated to think deeply about the kind of church God is calling you to form and that you will also be fueled with some helpful wisdom to guide you in the process. Current and former church planters will be here throughout the entire cohort and are available to you beyond any of the specific “sessions” they are leading. One of the most important aspects of planting in the day in which we live is to have a community of people walking alongside you in the process.
Ecclesia was started from a small informal gathering of a few entrepreneurial pastors with that idea in mind. We are on the way to becoming a more focused collaborative effort extending the kingdom of God through planting, reviving, and strengthening missional churches- and we are excited that our paths are intersecting during this season! We believe deeply in the call to plant churches and want to be part of the larger movement of God in our day that is seeding new communities of the gospel to demonstrate and declare the gospel in many places around the world.
From our perspective though, we certainly recognize that our journey is just starting and that much of the story that God wants to write through our collective mission has yet to be penned. It’s possible that you are intended to be part of that story in some way. If so, we hope that you’ll find this cohort a helpful entree into further involvement. If you are looking for some people who believe that more can be accomplished collectively than in isolation and who believe that the horizon is full of possibility for what Jesus is doing in this new day - then this may be the place for you.
