Plenty of room for dialog, conversation, and questions amidst all of the planned training.
Our cohort model provides the opportunity to learn along with others as friendships are built and relationships are fostered
This cohort training [as in all we try to do] isn’t dominated by just a few individuals or models of church planting. You’ll hear from a variety of planters, both seasoned and new, and learn from their experiences and approaches.
Finally, we will provide a good balance of theology, theory, and practicality. Each component is vital.
We'll have two "modules" of 6 online sessions each, meeting an hour and a half every week for training, discussion, and Q & A. There will be a one-month break between the two modules.
In addition, we'll have some pre-work, post-work, and a one-on-one debrief/coaching session with one of our Equippers after the cohort ends. Pre and post-work will be pre-recorded allowing you to engage on your own schedule. All sessions will be recorded to allow those who have to miss a week to catch up.
Pre-work: January 1-18, 2021
Module One:
Break: March 2021
Module Two:
Post-Work/Individual Debriefs: June-August 2021
We're offering Genesis this year for the lowest price we've ever been able to do- $299 for more than 6 months of training, equipping, and relationship-building. ($249 for Ecclesia Network members)
We'll walk through a broad range of practical, theological and formational topics that are critical in the journey of church planting.
Among them are:
And more!
Registration is now open! The last day to register will be January 12, 2021
It will be different. We'll miss meals together, morning and evening prayer, and all the casual conversations that happen in the spaces in-between. BUT, we gain a longer time to learn together, to wrestle with concepts and soak in the material, and the cohort model lends itself extremely well to relationship building. We lose some things, but we gain a lot too.

Feedback from our most recent Genesis Training
"This week was extremely be beneficial. I came in not knowing what to expect, a little nervous and overwhelmed, but left feeling extremely equipped and a lot more knowledgeable and encouraged. Genesis has done such a great job covering a multitude of topics."
"Genesis was incredibly encouraging - I feel more equipped about how our team is going to make this idea of a church plant into a reality and more excited about this mission that God has given to us!"
"It was incredibly helpful and encouraging week. There was a great balance between strategic discussion and tending to our hearts. The opportunity to connect with church planters from around the country was exciting and edifying. "
This week was incredible! The principles of missional church planting taught was a great blend of head, heart, and hands. This was an ideal space to discern, discuss, and work on my church planting plan. The community feel of the week was encouraging and supportive. Lots of prayer, laughter, and learning took place. I'm sad for it to end!
